RUIZ, Ana of Boston. Daughter of the late Cecilio Acosta Concepcion and Emenegilda Acosta.  Beloved wife of Andre J. Ruiz. Loving mother of Carlos Ruiz and his wife Jenissa, Marcos Ruiz and the late Freddy Ruiz. Visiting hours will be at the Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain on FRIDAY, May 3rd from 4 - 8 pm.  Relatives and friends invited. A short prayer service will take place Saturday morning at 10 o'clock before a private interment.  

I was able to say goodbye to my younger daughter just before joining my older daughter, Father, Mother, Brother-in-Law and dear friends. I was in the loving arms of my companion of 34 years, Jayna, with whom I enjoyed most summers  in Vermont, planting, tending, and harvesting our garden. Jose Luis Pereira Suarez, age 85, a longtime resident of Boston, passed away on March 24, 2024, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Jose Luis was born in 1938 to the late Amalia Suarez and Pedro Pereira in Chivana, Honduras, the third oldest of 11 siblings. He immigrated to the United States in 1976, where he met and married Gloria Pereira, his wife of 48 years.
